About Us
At Royston Hospital, we perform a wide range of diagnostic, interventional and surgical procedures. With a long-standing history of serving our community, we are proud to be the number one provider of private surgical services in Hawke’s Bay.
About the role Reporting to the Administration and Support Services Manager, you will provide administrative and reception support to our team at Royston Hospital.
You will perform an efficient, safe and well-managed service for our specialists and their patients, especially:
Ensure that our patients are made to feel welcome and comfortable
Create reports, invoices and receipts
Monitor patient accounts and records
Answer and direct phone calls and emails
This is a permanent position 60 hours per fortnight and is located at Royston Hospital, Hastings.
This is a permanent position for 64 hours per fortnight and is located at Royston Hospital in Hawkes Bay.
Desired Skills and Experience
About you
As the Receptionist, you will have proven experience in the medical administration field.
You will communicate and relate to all people in a professional, respectful and efficient manner.
As well as demonstrate confidential handling of all patient information, you will need:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and telephone manner
Proficient in Microsoft applications and hospital based electronic systems
Work effectively to meet deadlines
Offer a degree of flexibility with a 'can-do' attitude
Be a willing, positive, contributing and adaptable member of the team
