About the role
As a Theatre Assistant, you will assist in the general running of the operating theatre services as directed and provide essential support to our Theatre team.
You will:
Ensure our Theatre team have everything they require, cleaning and resetting theatres between cases
Ensure patient transfer between departments under the direction of a Registered Nurse in a safe and timely manner
Manage the food service for consultants and staff in the staff lounge area and maintain a clean and tidy kitchen and dining facility
Conduct general housekeeping duties in the Operating Theatres suite and are kept at a high standard
Follows the prescribed plan for emergencies and/or disaster
Multiple casual positions available, located at Wakefield Hospital in Newtown, Wellington.
