About the role
We are seeking motivated and experienced Registered Nurses to join our high-performing ward team on a permanent part-time basis. In this role, you will deliver exceptional, patient-centred care while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering evidence-based nursing care to patients
Practising in accordance with professional standards, organisational policies, and best practice guidelines
Collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes
Anticipating patient needs and coordinating appropriate interventions, investigations, and resources
Identifying and managing clinical risks to ensure patient safety, including infection control and procedural risks
Contributing to continuous improvement by constructively evaluating new ideas and practices
Your practice will align with professional nursing standards, including maintaining appropriate conduct and boundaries
Desired Skills and Experience
About you
You are a capable and team-oriented Registered Nurse with a strong commitment to high standards of care.
To be successful, you must have:
Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a valid APC
Recent nursing experience in New Zealand (essential)
Legal right to work in New Zealand (essential)
At least 2 years’ experience in a ward setting
Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of patient care
Surgical nursing experience is highly desirable.
