About Us
At Evolve Rehabilitation, we guide and support our clients through their rehabilitation journey, in a safe and structured environment. Through short, medium, or long-term residential support we support our clients to regain independence and re-learn daily activities.
About the role
As a Rehabilitation Coach, you will be responsible for carrying out the client’s rehabilitation plans. You will also:
Empower clients to complete daily tasks, with oversight, direct assistance, or prompting as required
Support our clients to participate in various activities
Assist clients with personal care
Help clients progress along with their rehab journey
Contribute to the smooth and effective day-to-day operations of the residential facility
This is a permanent full-time position, located in South Auckland.
Desired Skills and Experience
About you As the Rehabilitation Coach, you will be professional, motivated, and enthusiastic. you will have a polite and friendly manner with a key focus on providing a positive experience for our clients. You will also demonstrate and have the following skills and experiences:
Ideally, hold a NZQA qualification, or studying toward a certificate in Health & well-being/or career force level study
Preferably hold a current first aid certificate
Good command of the English language both in written and oral communication
Hold a current full driver’s license
Ability to make independent decisions and work effectively alongside others
Demonstrate excellent self-management and time management
Have a “can do” attitude and works well in a team
The ability to cover rostered and rotating shifts (am, pm, nights - including weekends)
